The Symphony of the Hawaiian Birds will be performed on Kaua‘i by the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa Wind Ensemble in February of 2020! Any grades 4-12 class (or home school) is welcome to attend this FREE concert!
The Symphony of the Hawaiian Birds is a place-based interdisciplinary program that brings together science, music, art, dance, and education to tell the story of our endangered Hawaiian forest birds. Featuring original compositions, animations, artworks, and lesson plans for teachers and students, the Symphony of the Hawaiian Birds has already been performed for over 10,000 people on O‘ahu.
Now partnering with the Kaua‘i Forest Bird Recovery Project, the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa Wind Ensemble will be performing this special Symphony on Kaua‘i for the first time.
